The 'AI Explorer'

I am Michael Frison, Senior IT Engineer at Ford Motor Company, with more than 30 years of cross-disciplinary experience spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and IT. My academic background includes a degree in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieur) and an MSc in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, which laid the foundation for my systems-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Around 2019, I caught the AI bug. What started as playful experiments with Stable Diffusion on Google Colab turned into a deep dive into state-of-the-art models and practical applications.

At work, I now act as an internal expert supporting the rollout of AI-driven tools, including GitHub Copilot, Python automation, and prompt engineering practices. I concentrate on maximizing business value while also educating colleagues on the inherent limitations of AI, ensuring informed and realistic adoption. This website is where I share my own private learning journey, mixing technical insights with plain-English explanations. It’s about making AI approachable, useful, and understood - by experts, beginners, and the curious alike.
